Great for: • Melasma & sun spots • Uneven skin tone • Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation • Gentle brightening with no downtime Contraindications: • Allergic response to topical anesthetics, antibiotics, or other medications • Healing disorders such as those caused by diabetes mellitus, connective tissue disease, radiation therapy, or chemotherapy • Seizure disorder caused by bright light • Patients with psychoneurosis and/or a history of alcohol or drug abuse • Patients with unrealistic expectations regarding the outcome of the treatment • Patients who are unable or unwilling to follow post treatment guidelines • Cancerous or pre-malignant lesions Pre-Treatment Recommendations: • Avoid sun exposure and discontinue any irritant topical agents during the week prior to treatment. • The patient should arrive for treatment with clean skin. No lotions, make-up, perfume, powders, bath/shower oil should be present on the area to be treated.
