An eyeliner tattoo, also known as permanent eyeliner, applies pigment along the lash line to create the look of perfectly applied eyeliner. It is ideal if you want to save time on your makeup routine, or if vision or an unsteady hand makes daily liner a challenge.
Pigment can be placed along the top, bottom, or both lash lines, and the thickness and color are fully customized, from a thin, natural-looking enhancement to a thicker, more dramatic line. The result is smudge-proof and long-lasting, enhancing the eyes' natural shape and making lashes appear thicker.

02, the invisible
lash line enhancement
The lashliner tattoo takes a more subtle approach than a full eyeliner. A fine line of pigment is tattooed directly into the lash line itself, less about the look of makeup, more about natural definition. No wing: the line ends where the lash growth ends.
It is perfect if you prefer a minimal look, or want to add depth to your eyes without the appearance of eyeliner. By darkening the base of the lashes, it creates the illusion of density in the lash bed, a more awake, refreshed look that no one can quite put their finger on.

foxyline tattoo
A modern twist on the traditional eyeliner tattoo, inspired by the “fox eye” trend. The foxyline extends the lashliner into an elongated wing with a soft eyeshadow effect at the outer corners, lifting and elongating the eye into a more almond-shaped contour.
The wing's angle is mapped to complement your individual eye shape, and the boldness can range from subtle to striking. It is a statement look loved for its instant eye-lift effect, no makeup required.

the appointment
Your artist maps the shape and chooses pigment color with you before any tattooing begins. Thickness, placement and style are tailored to your features and preference.

the first days
The liner looks bolder and darker at first, this is normal. Mild swelling is common in the first day or two, and the color softens considerably as the skin heals over the following days.

the touch-up
A touch-up session 1–3 months after the initial procedure adds color and refines tone or shape. Once both sessions are complete, your result stays smudge-proof for the long term.

How much is permanent eyeliner?
At Calypso Beauty in Kirkland (serving Bellevue), lash line enhancement is $450, classic eyeliner tattoo is $500, and a foxyline tattoo is $580. Permanent makeup is a two-step procedure; a touch-up 1–3 months later for $150 perfects the color and shape.
Does an eyeliner tattoo hurt?
The eye area is sensitive, but a topical numbing approach keeps most clients comfortable throughout the appointment. Sessions are unhurried, a classic eyeliner takes about 1 hour 45 minutes, and a foxyline about 2 hours 15 minutes, with mapping and design done before tattooing begins.
Which technique is right for me?
If you wear little or no makeup, a lash line enhancement ($450) adds invisible density at the base of the lashes. If you love a defined liner look, the classic eyeliner tattoo ($500) recreates it permanently, thin and natural or thicker and more dramatic. If you want lift and elongation, the foxyline tattoo ($580) adds a wing with a soft shadow effect.
How long does permanent eyeliner last?
About 1.5–4 years, depending on lifestyle, skin, and the color and kind of eyeliner.
Do I need a touch-up session?
Yes, permanent makeup is a two-step procedure. A touch-up session ($150), usually 1 to 3 months after the initial appointment, adds color and refines the tone or shape for the best possible, longest-lasting result. To fix or improve work by another artist, please book a standard procedure instead.
Can you fix or improve eyeliner done elsewhere?
Yes, but touch-up pricing applies only to returning Calypso Beauty clients within 1–3 months of their original procedure. To fix or improve work done by another artist, please book a standard procedure so your artist has full control of the result.
What if I don't like the result?
We have our own laser tattoo removal right here in the studio. If you change your mind later, or want the line corrected, eyeliner tattoo removal ($200 per session) can lighten or fully remove the pigment.
Can I combine eyeliner with a lash lift?
Absolutely, but please schedule them 3 weeks apart. A lash lift with Julia Tymkiv ($120) curls and tints your natural lashes and pairs beautifully with a lash line enhancement for a complete, makeup-free eye look.
