Legal terms of service
These terms apply to services provided by Calypso Beauty, LLC ("Calypso Beauty," "we," "us") and to your use of calypso-beauty.com. By booking or receiving a service, you agree to them.

The short version: you must be 18 or older, permanent makeup appointments need a $50 non-refundable deposit, late cancellations are charged, touch-ups are priced separately, and services are not refundable once performed.
Eligibility & safety
- You must be at least 18 years old to receive permanent makeup or other tattoo-based services. We may ask for photo ID.
- All clients must complete applicable health history and informed consent forms before treatment, and must answer them fully and truthfully.
- Tell us before your appointment about any condition that may affect treatment, including pregnancy or nursing, use of Accutane or other retinoids, blood thinners, recent Botox or fillers in the treatment area, skin conditions, a history of keloids or poor healing, or allergies.
- Certain services may require medical clearance, physician authorization, or supervision as required by Washington State law.
- We reserve the right to decline, stop, or postpone treatment when it may not be appropriate or safe for you. If we decline before starting for a reason you disclosed truthfully, your deposit can be applied to a future appointment.
Booking & deposits
- All services are provided by appointment only.
- Permanent makeup appointments require a $50 deposit to secure your time. The deposit is non-refundable and is applied to the price of your service.
Cancellations & late arrivals
- Appointments canceled 24 to 48 hours before the scheduled time require payment of 50% of the service price.
- Appointments canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, and missed appointments (no-shows), require full payment of the service price.
- To cancel or reschedule, call (425) 324-6612 or email Book@Calypso-Beauty.com.
- In an extreme emergency, such as an injury or family crisis, please contact us to discuss your situation directly with your artist.
- If you arrive late, we may need to shorten your service or reschedule it. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may be treated as a late cancellation.
Pricing & payment
- Prices and treatment plans may vary depending on the treatment area and individual needs.
- Prices listed on this site do not include taxes and credit card fees.
- Prices may change without notice. The price confirmed when you book applies to that appointment.
- Payment is due at the time of service.
Touch-ups
- Permanent makeup is usually a two-step process. We recommend a touch-up session 1 to 3 months after your initial procedure to perfect tone and shape.
- Touch-up sessions are not included in the price of the initial procedure and are priced separately.
- Later color refresh sessions to maintain your results are also priced separately.
Refunds
All services are non-refundable once performed. Because results depend on your skin, healing, and aftercare, we don't offer refunds based on how a treatment heals or how you feel about the result. If you have a concern, contact us and we'll talk through your options, which may include a touch-up session.
Results & aftercare
- Multiple treatment sessions may be required to achieve desired results.
- Treatment results, healing, color retention, and the number of sessions needed vary based on individual factors such as skin type, health, medications, sun exposure, and lifestyle.
- You are responsible for following the aftercare instructions we give you. Not following them can affect your results.
- Individual outcomes are not guaranteed.
Photos
We may photograph your treatment area before and after your service for your records and to plan touch-ups. We only use your photos on our website, Instagram, or other social media with your permission. You can withdraw that permission any time, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Gift cards & packages
- Gift cards can be used toward any service. They can't be exchanged for cash, except where Washington law requires.
- Gift cards and prepaid packages are non-refundable.
- We aren't responsible for lost or stolen gift cards.
Website use
- Content on this site is informational and is not medical advice.
- All text, photos, logos, and other content on this site belong to Calypso Beauty or are used with permission. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission.
- Online booking and payments are provided through Wix. This site may link to other websites we don't control, and we aren't responsible for their content or practices.
- Your personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Calypso Beauty is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services or your use of this site. Our total liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under Washington law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. The terms in effect when you book apply to that appointment.
