Legal privacy policy
Calypso Beauty, LLC ("Calypso Beauty," "we," "us") is a permanent makeup and beauty studio at 6725 116th Ave NE, Suite 160, Kirkland, WA 98033. This policy explains what we collect when you visit calypso-beauty.com, book with us, or visit the studio, and what we do with it.
Last updated September 29, 2026
The short version: we collect what we need to book and care for you, we never sell your personal information, and health details from your intake and consent forms stay confidential.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details, like your name, email, and phone number, when you book, call, email, message us on social media, or sign up for promos.
- Booking details, like the service, artist, date, and any notes you add.
- Payment information, like deposits and card payments. Cards are processed through Wix Payments; we do not see or store full card numbers.
- Intake and consent forms, which ask about skin, allergies, medications, pregnancy, and other health factors that affect whether a procedure is safe for you. See our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy for how we handle this.
- Photos taken before, during, and after your procedure (see Photos).
- Lesson and training details if you enroll in one of our permanent makeup courses.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, our site host and booking platform automatically record basic technical information, like your browser type, device, IP address, pages viewed, and the site that referred you. See Cookies & analytics.
How we use it
- Schedule, confirm, remind you of, and reschedule appointments.
- Decide whether a procedure is safe for you, and plan and perform it.
- Keep treatment records, including pigments used and touch-up history.
- Take payments and deposits and apply our cancellation policy.
- Answer questions and send aftercare instructions.
- Send promos and studio news, only if you sign up (you can unsubscribe any time).
- Keep our website working, secure, and useful.
- Meet our legal, licensing, and health-and-safety obligations.
How we share it
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own advertising. We share it only:
- With service providers who help us run the studio. Our website, online booking, payments, client records, and appointment emails and texts all run on Wix (Wix.com Ltd.). They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Within the studio, with the artist or technician performing your service.
- When required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, licensing inspection, or court order, or to protect someone's health or safety.
- With your permission, for anything else.
Photos
We photograph your treatment area for your records and to plan touch-ups. We only post photos on our website, Instagram, or other social media with your permission, and we crop or edit them to avoid showing more of you than the work itself. You can withdraw your permission any time; we will remove photos from the accounts we control, though we can't pull back copies others have already shared.
Cookies & analytics
Cookies are small files your browser stores. We and Wix, our website and booking platform, use them to keep the site and booking flow working, remember preferences, and understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of booking may not work without them.
Our website and social media pages may include content from other services, like Instagram or Google Maps. Those services may set their own cookies and are covered by their own privacy policies.
Emails & text messages
If you book with us, we send appointment confirmations, reminders, and aftercare by email or text. Promotional emails are sent only if you sign up, and each includes an unsubscribe link. To stop texts, reply STOP. Message and data rates may apply. We do not share your phone number with third parties for their marketing.
Keeping & protecting data
We keep client and treatment records for as long as you are a client and afterward as long as needed for touch-ups, safety, and our legal and licensing requirements. When we no longer need information, we delete or destroy it.
We use reasonable safeguards, like password-protected systems and limiting access to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive health details over social media messages.
Your choices & rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we have about you, and give you a copy.
- Correct information that is wrong.
- Delete your information, unless we must keep it by law or for your safety.
- Stop sending you promotional emails or texts.
- Stop using your photos.
Email Info@Calypso-Beauty.com or call (425) 324-6612. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will respond within 45 days. Washington residents have added rights over health data, described in our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
Children
Our website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online. Services for anyone under 18 require a parent or guardian's consent, and some procedures are offered to adults only.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a significant change, we will post a notice on the site.
